[edit] Bio
Scarlett became one of the foremost experts in the Rage Virus following the original outbreak and assisted in the creation of the military camps in Britain to protect survivors stranded in the country, and refugee camps to house any British citizens that escaped quarantine of the British Isles.
In the beginning of the film, she is seen observing the British citzens departing the airplane and is surprised by the appearance of two minors (Tammy and Andy). During her examination of Andy, she notes his heterochromatic eye color. Upset with her superiors, she questions why she was not informed of their arrival, given that there was no protocols set for them. This leads to revealing her fears of the Rage Virus returning, though her superiors do not believe it will come back.
When the second outbreak occurs, Ross rescues Tammy and Andy from a infected soldier in the detainment room and tries to get them to saftey (declairing them top priority above all things, including Code Red), when Andy is separted from her by the panicked crowd. Ross promises Tammy that they will retrieve her brother before any harm can come to him, however, the contained populace inside the safe from have become infected and they are forced to take to shelter inside of a warehouse, to avoid being killed. Ross puts out an APB on Andy, who later reuinites with them inside the warehouse where they meet Sergeant Doyle.
With the help of Doyle, the survivors make their way through the city, when they are fired upon by a rooftop sniper. Scarlett sustains a leg wound. Upon their arrival at Regent's Park, Ross explains to Doyle that the cure to the virus may lie within the two children, making their lives more valuable than his or hers. After escaping park, the remaining group pile inside an abadoned vehicle to avoid the chemical gas and the infected. The van refuses to start, Doyle instructs Ross to put her foot on the cltuch and remove her foot from it until he tells her.
She does as instructed and the car starts just as Dolye is killed by the flamthrowers. Ross travels briefly through the city, avoiding the gas, before the car is attacked by a helicopter which forces them into the London Underground. There Scarlett leads Andy and Tammy down the escalator using the nightvision scope on Doyle's M4 rifile, directing them away from the bodies strewn across the stairs. When they fall down the stairs, out of sight, Ross searches for them until she finds Tammy. Moments later she is ambushed by Don who beats her to death with her rifile.
