Biography[]
28 Days Later: The Aftermath[]
Roger and his family were enjoying a picnic for his wife's birthday a few miles from Cambridge during the second day of the Original Outbreak of the Rage Virus. During this picnic, Roger and his son Sid got into an argument over Sid's lack of manners, then happily made up. When an infected chimpanzee attacked Liam, Roger and Sid brutally beat the infected monkey to death in vengeance.
While Roger and his family were following an ambulance taking the infected Liam to London, Liam broke free and attacked his family, forcing Roger to shake him off the car. The family spent the next five - seven days in hiding from the Infected, and travelled to King's Cross Station, hoping to escape the country from there, only to find the entire station engulfed and overrun by the Infection.
The family next went to Central London, to try and escape down the Thames on a yacht, and found the city overrun and deserted. As the Infected closed in on the family, Roger and Barbara stayed behind on the Westminster Bridge to hold off the Infected in a last stand, sacrificing themselves so that Sid and Sophie could escape.
Personality[]
Roger was a tough, wisecracking father. Though he had a short temper at times, he would quickly forget about whatever he was scolding his children for and happily make up with them. He was also willing to sacrifice himself for his family.
