Trina was the lover of Hirsch, and a member of Clint Harris' illegal expedition into Great Britain.
Biography[]
Approximately two months after the Original Outbreak of the Rage Virus in Great Britain, Trina and Hirsch joined Clint Harris and several others on an illegal expedition into quarantined Britain, with Selena as their guide.
28 Days Later (comic series)[]
After recruiting Selena at Bergen in Norway, Trina and the group travelled by helicopter towards Britain, but an attack by the US Army forced them to land on the Shetland Islands, nine miles from Sumburgh. After discovering that the Rage Virus had recently spread to the island, the group, including Trina, took refuge in a nearby hotel from the Infected. Trina and Hirsch went off to search the hotel for any weapons, and discovered a lift shaft full of Infected, which they accidentally alerted.
Trina and Hirsch then ran back to the group, followed by the Infected, to warn them, and they and the group then made a narrow escape in a hotwired van from the Infected-filled hotel. After driving to Sumburgh, the group took shelter for the night in a pub until the boat taking them to mainland Britain arrived, and Trina took part with Selena, Acorn, Derrick and Randall in a game of Texas Hold'em Poker. However, Hirsch was then attacked by an Infected and was infected himself, forcing Selena to kill both the Infected and Hirsch in front of Trina and the rest of the group.
Hirsch's death caused Trina to develop a deep, psychotic vendetta against Selena and alienate herself from the rest of the group. When more Infected arrived and attacked the pub, while the rest of the group tried to fend them off, Trina, in the chaos, bit Selena and tried to frame as having been bitten by one of the Infected. However, Selena proved that she wasn't infected and warned Trina against daring to try and kill her again. Harlan's boat then arrived, and the group abanadoned the pub and, pursued by Infected, ran aboard. One of the Infected grabbed Trina, but Selena saved Trina and killed the Infected.
Trina's remains are found by Selena.
Trina and the others then escaped on the boat from Shetland. On the boat, Trina came close to apologising to Selena for trying to get her killed, but withdrew. The group subsequently found the US Navy protecting the quarantine on mainland Britain, and as Trina and the group were preparing to abandon the boat if they needed, a Navy jet blew the boat up, killing Trina. Shortly afterwards, Selena found Trina's mutilated corpse among the wreckage of the boat.
Personality[]
Trina was in a relationship with Hirsch, whom she loved deeply, and was initially friendly towards Selena. However, after Selena killed Hirsch for the safety of the group, Trina became much less stable, and developed a psychotic obsession with revenge on Selena and distanced herself from the rest of the group.
