The London Underground is a metro system serving a large part of Greater London and neighbouring areas of Essex, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire in England. It is the world's oldest underground railway system. It is usually referred to as the Underground or the Tube.

28 Days Later (film)[]
Mark and Selena used a sweetshop in the Underground station at Canary Wharf as a hideout. On Day 28 of the Original Outbreak of the Rage Virus, after rescuing Jim from the Infected he alerted inside of a church, Mark and Selena led him into the Underground back to their hideout. They then proceeded to inform him about the situation he had awakened to. The trio spent the night there, before leaving and proceeding to Deptford the next day to find his parents.
Scarlet leads Andy and Tammy into the Underground.
28 Weeks Later[]
During the Second Outbreak of the Rage Virus in London, after District One was firebombed, large numbers of the surviving Infected fled into the London Underground. Later, Scarlet Levy, Tammy and Andy Harris took cover in the Underground from the Infected and the US Army, and attempted to travel through the dark Underground to Wembley Stadium.
However, the group were attacked by the infected Donald Harris, who killed Scarlet and infected Andy, before Tammy shot and killed him. Tammy and the Carrier Andy then left the Underground.
